I'm having a problem with the proximity meter. It just isnt working. I've cleared out Alcazia Tangle. According to wiki the object target is in Arbor Bay but the only thing that happens when I zone there is that my map tells me the target object is in Alcazia Tangle ... >.> Help please!!!

There is an island in Arbor bay where i found him. Some NPC where there. Ventari etc. You might check that spot.

Yeah the boss is in Arbor Bay. Exit from Vlox Falls, a tip I would recommend using is keep rezoning till a good bit of blue is on the proximity bar, then just venture round till u get close to the boss (watching your meter)

For whatever reason my proximity bar started working after I talked to Shing Jea Sherman "\(0.o)/" resolved. thanks for the input

I've done the quest 5 times so far, and I always found the Cipher at one of the two indicated locations almost right outside the outpost.

#1 is where you go when the proximity bar is red and almost full after zoning in, #2 is where you have to turn to when it is in an advanced blue state turning red as soon as you approach the Krewe Member.

If you find there is absolutely no proximity indication for you right from the start, just keep rezoning as recommended by Trueslash
